My personal branding is very important to me as it is my connection to the industry. For this task I ensured that all the work produced both accurately represented me as a designer and that my branding was applied consistently across multiple deliverables.
Through developing my designer identity, it reinforced how important the meaning/purpose of the design is, not just how effective it looks. I began with a logo and exploring options that combined a representation of me as well as how I became a designer. The final logo was chosen as it depicts my journey from artists to designer from the relation of the brush stroke on the left to the transition to the mouse cursor on the right. I then paired this combination of graphic design and art in my brand mark. The colourful artwork that is featured across deliverables was created in a moment where I let my creative mind run free. The artwork was created before my intent to make it a part of my brand and truly captures a moment of free expression. The use of paint marks across my identity also depicts my design passion to make my mark on the world. The paint marks help represent my identity, my passion and captures the depiction of no mark is ever the same.
